Genuine team-issue, fully certificated, fire-retardant race suit, worn by Nico Rosberg as test and reserve driver for BMW Williams F1 during 2005.
This specific suit was used by Nico when testing for the BMW Williams F1 team in 2005 when he was a potential race drive competing in the Japanese and Chinese F1 rounds, when Nick Heidfeld was injured. The decision by Frank Williams to sign Nico late in 2005 on a five year deal was down to his test consistency, race-craft and engineering background.
The suit shows light signs of use as to be expected, it features all the correct sponsors – sewn in to the suit – not patches. There is complete FIA safety standard labelling, correct fastenings and sewn name prominent on the suit and would display extreamly well hung or framed.
