Beautiful #6 livery wooden box measuring 10 x 8 inches containing fabulously detailed model car, presented on a display base, hand signed by Derek Bell, the car that was driven at the 1971 1000kms at Brands Hatch, finishing third, and the car Derek Bell drove during filming of ‘Le Mans’ the movie shot in 1971 starrring Steve McQueen.
Inside the box features the classic quote in the film by Michael Delaney (Steve McQueen) “When your racing, it’s life. Anything that happens before or after is just waiting.”
The model car comes complete in a Porsche 917K branded presentation box containing 1/18 scale Porsche 917 #6 model on a base hand signed by Derek Bell, with a photo Certificate of Authenticity and is finished with a nod to the Gulf sponsor with an orange ribbon.
