Description
Framed, signed photo print 35x25cm (15x10in) ex-John Surtees, with Certificate of Authenticity.
Ayrton Senna da Silva was a Brazilian racing driver who won the Formula One World Drivers’ Championship in 1988, 1990 and 1991, and who is widely regarded as one of the greatest Formula One drivers of all time.
This dramatic photograph is captioned ‘1991 Monaco Grand Prix’ and shows Ayrton in the Formula 1 Championship winning McLaren MP4/6 at the Monaco Grand Prix, which featured the V12 Honda engine, mated to a manual gearbox, and took McLaren to the Constructors Championship, and Ayrton Senna to the Drivers Championship, beating the more technically advanced Williams FW14.
Large photographs, hand signed by Ayrton Senna rarely come to market, so we are very pleased to offer this framed print from a collection once owned by John Surtees CBE. Beautifully signed and authenticated by us, from such provenance makes this a unique opportunity to own something very special. No reserve.
